For a day or two, my brokers in several different systems have been unable to fetch resources from other planets in the same solar system. I'm guessing this is related to something that was changed after the two big server crashes a few days ago.

In the Compass tab of the F7 window, this is always shown even while on the surface of habitable planets:

After relogging many times, and multiple game updates, the Patents tab in the F12 UI is still empty. I have many patents in my city's inventories, and yet this happens:

Some new players can't find the Blueprint Exchange. It might be a lot easier if there were buttons to open the Blueprint Exchange on the Design Studio's building window tab.

The buttons can stay on the button bar too, but it would just be useful for an alternative location to find it.

Some players seem to think they need to load in one of the design files that are in the Hazeron folder, and then finalize their own blueprint, so some of the default designs might have been saved multiple times to the blueprint library.

Might be an idea to turn them off completely until the servers can stay up for longer than a few hours. tons of people on the discord are sat there unable to do anything about the boulder of impending doom rolling its merry way towards them..

Would it not be more flexible and financially viable to hire in freelance work on an NDA basis?

i.e - I need someone to create character models. will pay X for the job
    - I need some default ships designed for the blue print exchange. (voluntary)
    - need bug stompers for a 3 month job - will pay x
    -  I need someone in timezone X to maintain the server when I'm getting my beauty sleep.

it means you can get the work done as you need without having to hire one "jack of all trades", or hyper focussed skillset.
if you want to tinker at your leisure you just can without having to pay someone to make the tea.
you get highly skilled people to do specific jobs really well without having to hire a bunch of people.

BG Music. Unless Ive got some setting turned low or off i dont tend to hear much. Hazeron is a fairly quiet game.

A bit of ambient sound or even some free source bg music might be good to add atmosphere? if not to hard to add that is.
I tend to listen to like lowfi space sounds or chillstep type stuff when playing. it does add something.

I know there is some ambient sounds like rain, wind etc but im thinking more like jungle sounds in wooded areas, animal noises, rumbling volcanic sounds on inferno planets etc.

Ship designer allows for super unique and pretty ships, but is not user friendly at all.

My suggestion would be to have a hybrid of old and new.

Old designer to do interiors, doors, berths, weapons and all that jazz; then use the super intricate new designer to build the outer hulls.

again im no game dev, but as a player, my opinion is that these things need to be a little bit accessible without having to be on youtube/forums/ a cad designer etc.

Patreon - Client programs now have web links and reminders to wave people in to our Patreon page.
A Patreon splash appears every four days. It waits to be clicked for ten seconds. You can quickly bypass it by hitting Esc.
The initial response on the Patreon page has been very encouraging.

Server Lockups and Crashes - I started an aggressive campaign to eliminate server crashes and lockups. There has been a steady stream of them. They get steadily worse as the number of players on line increases.
The update today has some slight changes that may eliminate the worst of the problems. We'll see what remains after that.

Hey guys,

Returning player here from around a decade ago.

Im strictly pve and have no interest in attacking other players, or being attacked by them.

Got to space age in my new game and realised i accidentally joined the pvp server, ahores of hazeron.

Couple questions then if i may..

1. Is there a way of moving my empire to the pve server?
2. If not, given the size of the galaxy, how likely am i to be wantonly griefed and attacked by the first player i see? Best to just write off the last week and start a new game.

Jack Deepspace 1 is stuck in place, cannot walk around the ship.  If I take the controls the scene reloads and I am unable to control the ship as well.
Seems almost as though I'm stuck in a time loop or perpetual server crash.
