Haxus I came across a few issues working on my Audio Pack Overhaul I am putting together for the community:

1. After altering a Sound with a custom .wav file, the distance and roll off modifiers no longer apply. (The volume bars for both the sound and master sound are working)
2. Several of the sounds associated with Spacecraft are bugged, and play endlessly at any distance, anywhere you are once the sound has been loaded into memory. So, once you load in, the sound loads and plays, you can exit the spacecraft, teleport anywhere or be anywhere and still hear all the Spacecraft sounds as if you were still aboard the spacecraft. This bug only happens once the associated sound has been modified with a custom .wav. Returning them to their default values and restarting the client halts the bug.
3. I'm not sure but am making a guess: Client only supports PCM 16 bit, using PCM 24-bit or 32-bit results in the playback being garbled and tons of static scratchiness. Utilizing PCM16@44100k results in no issues. However, what is supported and not, is not documented anywhere.

Hoping this issue gets resolved because I have been working very hard on this Sound Pack for the community and I think it is going make people very happy with the new higher quality and better sounds.

  Docking/Undocking Star Map crashes Windows Client

I am able to crash the windows client fairly reliably by docking and/or undocking the star map.

Repro:
* Open Star Map (usually it starts as floating for me)
* Minimize or dock to an existing panel.  It might crash here right away.
* If it doesn't, drag it back out into the main screen to float it again. I've never made it this far without a crash.

Let me know what details I can provide.  I have reproduced this on two different computers.

Unfortunately, upon returning to my only habitable, officer-producing planet I see this:

  Hit By Toxic Atmosphere Despite Being On Habitable World

The actual issue is that, when my ship landed on my home planet via a npc pilot, I immediately got hit with 'toxic atmosphere' damage and died from it, despite the fact that it's my starting planet and thus has a safe atmosphere. The crew on board/in the same room were unharmed.

In case it's relevant;
I previously had another ship of the same design with a officer in it, on a mission to harvest from a nearby frigid planets atmosphere then after awhile fly back home, sell, buy fuel, and go out again.
But while it was harvesting on its own without me, I got mail reporting the officer died from "Internal Injuries Q1".
When flying back to the ship and checking it out, nearly all the crew on board was dead with no obvious cause of death.

Later on, with the same ship design, during a harvest mission with me being around, I randomly got hit with suffocation damage while on the ship while it was harvesting. Didn't die from it though, and all the crew in the same room were left unharmed.

Getting a lot of players that ask why their cities report that they have no crew are available when they are trying to crew a ship.

So far I have told the players to ensure that morale is positive and that population has filled most of the housing in the city. And as far as I know this has helped.

However it would be nice if the cities explained why they have no crew available.

It is also currently unknown as to what actually controls the amount of crew available at once. I think it had to do with the University/Academy blueprint, but I don't know in what way or what else might affect it. Could this be clarified so we can add it to the wiki please?

Hi place a military HQ but i never appear in game. If i try to put a other one the game tell me i can't because one is already present but if i try to put military building it tell me i can because no military HQ are present.

I can't see it in game.
I can see it in the city list.
I can see it on ship sensor.
I can't destroy it.

Server Load
Servers have been very heavily loaded managing 270k solar systems. That happened fast.

All of my attention this week has been on this problem.

I made a significant change that has potential to cause problems. I am monitoring the servers closely.

I made database backups and backups of the current running server software. This change can be undone completely if it's a total disaster.

Steam cloud saves for starship. I have multiple computers and jump between them, it would be nice if the save was shared across them all without having to do a lot of grunt work copying, pasting, making sure itst he right file, up to date etc
