Teleportation allows one avatar to summon another avatar to its location. This makes it easy for friends to play together or to visit each other.

Unlike Port-a-Berthing, teleportation allows an avatar to keep their berth.

How to use

To use the Teleport ability to summon another avatar, simply right-click a chat message from the avatar and select "Invite to teleport to my location".

Teleport Invite

  1. Avatar A send a communication message to Avatar B, either on a public or private channel
  2. Avatar B right-click the message from Avatar A and select "Invite to teleport to my location" from the context menu
  3. Avatar A accept Avatar B's teleport invite and is instantly teleported to Avatar B's current location

Returning Home

To return home from far away, simply use the Recall Home ability.

For more information on the Recall Home ability, see the Spawning page.

Common uses

Common uses include, but are not limited to:

  • Visiting far away empires
  • Trading of small amounts of resources or items
  • Relocation of players to more populated areas
  • Hiring of player crew members

Notes

  • Warning! Teleporting across the universe discontinuity line will cause your whole inventory and your personal wallet to be lost.
This is to prevent players from bringing items and money in or out of the non-PvP galaxies.
