The third universe was the longest running universe before the fifth universe, spanning a total of 3 years.

This universe saw many changes, most notable being the World Update that introduced the non-tile worlds which co-existed with with the old tile worlds through the last year of the universe.

Many new players discovered Hazeron during this period. As a result, the game was very active throughout the universe.

Universe 3, alongside universes 1 and 2, would by some be called the "Golden Era" of Hazeron. This is reflected by the universe containing the majority of the game's history and events.

Towards the end of the universe more galaxies were added to the universe, thus actually making it a universe rather than just a single galaxy. However, many still think of it as having been just one galaxy since the supermassive black holes weren't actually implemented until the fourth universe, and thus the other galaxies weren't accessible during Universe 3.
