The United Empires was an alliance created on June 26, 2012. It was intended to serve as an alliance that would fill the power vacuum left by the recently departed Commonwealth. Originally the UE used a 1 to 1 copy of the Commonwealth, but when old Commonwealth members issued protest, the UE adopted a constitution of its own.
Around October 2012 the UE disbanded and most of its creators left Hazeron afterwards.
Policies
The United Empires used to be an open alliance that anyone can apply to join. It claimed to operate in a way similar to The Hazeron Commonwealth, during peacetime, members were supposed to be fully sovereign, though many of the members did collaborate in affairs such as ship design. In wartime, the UE was supposed to fight as one entity.
Events
Attacks by the Targoss Federation
Beginning shortly after the founding of the United Empires, an mysterious Empire named the Targoss Federation started attacking United Empires members through the use of subspace Weapons. Several cities were captured and left to decay. The Targoss Federation did not seem to have any desire to maintain these cities since none were used, they were left to rot, in some cases the cities were demolished by the Targoss Federation. The Targoss Federation ceased all activity towards late July for unknown reasons. It was believed by most United Empires members that the Targoss Federation was in fact supported by the old Hazeron Commonwealth, and some later admitted to attacking the UE.
War with the Ukrainian Galactic Empire
On July 11, 2012, the emperor of the Ukrainian Galactic Empire attacked Empire Rocket as an act of suicide because he was bored of peace. The war was hard-fought and the United Empires response was slow because most of its members could not be reached or were on a break from Hazeron, and the members that were available to fight did not know what to do with the fleets at their disposal. The United Empires would have most likely won in the long run, but the leader of Ukrainian Galactic surrendered all his cities to pirates when he saw that war was more tedious and boring than peace.
Dissolution
While the United Empires was never officially disbanded, their forums were removed, and most of the empires associated with it decayed afterwards.
