Clothing factories make clothing, bags, and flags out of textiles and leather. Clothing is not a requirement for a species, but some may like the idea of not being nude.
With the use of grav couplings, it is possible to make a Grav Pack which negates the weight of items inside, making the art of carrying heavy items a lot easier.
