The shotgun is a firearm with a capacity of 8 cartridges, using shotgun ammunition in order to reload.
It currently is the weakest ranged weapon of the game, having even worse firepower than the pistol. This is because it does not fire several pellets and does not have an area of effect, but its damage is based on the numerous pellets it should be firing.
The shotgun is the favorite weapon of officers.
