Emotes are symbols, acronyms and words constructed of typed characters, used for the purpose of expressing emotion. Here are some common examples.


The facial expressions are only triggered if the last word in the chat message is a emote. Many variations are recognized.
:) = Smile
:( = Sad
lol = Laugh Out Loud
rofl = Rolling On Floor Laughing
