Starborn Dominion was a Bay12 empire that existed during the second and third universes of the MMO. It quickly expanded in members, territories and tech, and captured a system named Valhalla on day one of the universe(which?), leading to early conflict.
The Dominion expanded outward immediately, and established their own cluster of sectors with access to tech-level 27 materials. Due to an early incursion by PTMC near their territories, they went to war and captured the territory immediately, causing some tensions.
Afterwards, the Dominion collapsed from within due to members leaving, but their research was still quite active. Later, these members took some of the research to Tymas and bolstered their capabilities, and eventually PTMC conquered their territory after they had decayed.
