The laser rifle is a more advanced version of the standard rifles. Instead of shooting a projectile, the laser rifle fires either a laser beam. It is fully automatic, although it have a reduced rate of fire when compared to a conventional firearm. However, the laser rifle has some advantages, such as a much longer effective range, more damage per shot and a larger magazine. The laser rifle deals burning damage and thus can easily set buildings on fire.
Laser rifles uses gigacells as ammo, and each gigacell provides the laser rifle with 50 shots.
Laser rifles are significantly more noticable than standard rifles when used, due to its distinctive sound and the fact that the laser is clearly visible, thus giving away the shooter's position.
