Ice is frozen water. It can be found near the poles and on snow capped peaks of alpine mountain ranges on planets in the inner orbit zone and beyond. On the colder worlds there is alot more. It is obviously not present on the hotter worlds.

It can be turned into liquid water using a Treatment Plant.
