A beacon can be used to mark a location. When activated and dropped on the ground the beacon will broadcast its location on the Hail communication channel.

Beacons will last 7 days before being subject to normal item decay.

The format of the location broadcast depends on where the beacon is.

  • Beacon: <spacecraft name>
