This section has details missing or obscure mechanics that need clarification by Haxus. Description: Could use some help with all the power plant pages really. Need to know rather or not the electricity amount produced is affected by Q/TL of fuel used and in this case wind speed and by how much. If you know the answer, please edit this page or state it on the talk page! |

Wind power plants use a planet's wind to produce electricity. They require atmospheric density and hence do not work on airless moons.
While the effect of actual wind speed on Wind power plants is disputed and has yet to be confirmed, they work best on frigid Worlds. The actual wind speed can be found by using the Locator F7 window.
Capacitor Storage
Wind power plant have the lowest capacitor storage capacity of all the power plants, but they can produce electricity constantly unlike the solar power plant.
