I have a similar issue. I have declared home inside an airport terminal, which is pressurized but located on an insidious world. The idea was that in case I die, I can easily respawn there. Since the EV Suit breaks a lot, it saves ships and travel time. However, the recall is not working right. Instead of spawning me inside of the terminal, it spawns me like 50 to 100 meters away from it, making me die instantly. The toon is in a loop now, where it dies, respawns and dies again. All within seconds. Too fast to send a message or accept a TP invite, etc.
