The fourth universe brought about the end of the old tile worlds, and the universe was expanded to hold twenty galaxies of half their previous sizes.

Multiple wars occurred during the fourth universe including the Core War and the French Empire War on Exiles.

Sadly the forth universe was a short lived one, because on the 15th of August 2014 the game was shutdown because of financial reasons. What followed the shutdown has some times been referred to as "the dark period".

There were many empires and alliances founded during this universe. Some of them are the Neo Terran Front, Pax de in Inanis Stella, the New California Republic, the Galactic Alliance, the Moonlit Aristocracy alliance, the Deutsches Reich alliance, and the United Intergalactic Republic. Additionally, a number of smaller but notable events occurred. For example, GET OUT vanishing from the universe for 3 weeks in March 2014, after being at the top of the rankings for 3 months, the Galactic Alliance becoming the highest ranked empire in the universe, the fall of the New California Republic and reformation as the New California Dictatorship, and the United Intergalactic Republic becoming the highest ranking empire. The Moonlit Aristocracy then won Universe 4.
