Viathol is a resource found in the Geosphere of Gas Giants. As a result, it's very difficult to obtain, with the solid level generally being around 30km under the surface of the water and requiring a submersible vehicle/spacecraft to reach.

This resource cannot be Foraged by the player, similar to Adamantite. Attempting to do so will result in the player receiving a message saying The pool of Viathol is now empty. Oozing fissures have been exposed.

Its uses are currently unknown.

Viathol glows slightly red in the dark.
