Account

An active account is required to play Shores of Hazeron. It is however recommended to ensure that the game client will run on your hardware before purchasing game time. This can be done by downloading the Shores of Hazeron Launcher from the website and running the Primeval World tech demo which does not require an account.

An account is also not required for the offline Spacecraft Designer or Building Designer.

Account Creation

A game account is created on the main website, on the "Pay to Play" page.

Account Activation

After the account has been created an option to activate the account will be presented. For $5 (5 USD) 15 days will be credited to the account. This half month offer is however not a requirement, any purchase of game time will activate the account.

It is also possible to activate the account using a Friend Activation Code, getting the 15 days for free.

Subscription Prices

On the "Pay to Play" page, it is possible to log in and purchase more game time.

Issues related to accounts should be e-mailed directly to Haxus.

Security Tips

• Choose an account name that is not related to your online name or forum username.
• Choose a strong password, using both letters and numbers.
• Ensure that your e-mail address is secure and always accessible.
• Don't share your account name, password, or e-mail with anyone.

Friend Activation Code

Upon purchasing 30 days or more of game time, the account will receive a Friend Activation Code. This can be found on the Account Status page of the website.

This code can be given a friend to grant them 15 days of game time for free. This however only works for accounts that haven't been activated, in other words the account must never have had any game time on it. The code essentially works as a free account activation of 15 days.

When using the code, the friend has to also enter an avatar name from the account that supplied the code. This is just to ensure the code was given by the account's owner, nothing happens with the avatar.

A new Friend Activation Code is available 30 days after the last one was used if the account has 30 days or more game time remaining at that time.

Forum Account

The game accounts are not connected to the forum accounts, so you will have to make an account both places.

This has the added bonus of letting you use an account name for your game account that is never seen by anyone else. The name of your forum account is automatically used as your user name, so everyone will see that. It is recommended to not use the same account name both places if possible.
