Tresnoth was a major empire, founded mid-June of the 3rd universe, 2011. It used the Dictatorship government type, the Koralian and Triscus Somalic as its main species, password-only entry, and had 46 sectors at its height.
Formation
The Tresnoth Republic was founded on July 14th, 2011. Mostres, then known as Tresnoth, had made several failed attempts at colonization before, spawning such empires as The Republic of Tresnoth, Tresnoth, and Tresen. After finally finding a suitable foothold and discovering the animals adorning the landscape of the spawn planet were survivable, Mostres painstakingly pieced together a crude flag from the sparse plant fiber scattered throughout the land, taking sympathy on Targoss, and drove the flag into the Earth at the site of Tresnoth's first city and capital, Tres.
Following the founding of Tres, flocks of primitive Triscus Somalic roaming Tres Alpha V slowly made their way towards the new city, ready to live a new life, experience new things. Live in civilization. As the city slowly grew and prospered, city leaders became arrogant and impulsive; they searched for expansion, at whatever cost.
A massive construction project was launched, culminating with the erection of over 28 condominiums, high rise, with more than 47 residents per skyscraper. Matching industrial crafts were also built, new workers eager to increase their pay, to innovate. Citizens rushed into the steadily growing metropolis, mindless of the slowly deteriorating sanitary conditions and slow, ominous unrest among the administration, eager to prosper, to be written down in the books of Tresnothian history.
High with the joy of their new dominion, their new empire, they eagerly continued expansion, pushing the newly declared capital planet to its limits. Young minds began thinking, of technological advancement and the forward movement of Tresnothian civilisation as a whole. Major universities were established, curious and ponderous minds being educated in the laws of nature, of the Universe, and of science. Major innovations came at a breakneck phase, rushing Tresnoth into technological paradise.
More and more buildings were built, new tags proclaiming them proudly to be above their TL1 counterparts. The capital planet was further strained, the citizens upon it trampling on its very nature. Soon, one of the citizens caught a disease and died soon after. Another. Many more. Tres was falling, the planet giving up under the pressure of the people standing on its surface.
Events
Fall of Tres
Desperate efforts immediately commenced after the epidemic began, Mostres and various others shooting any citizen to get in their path and deleting buildings with rapidity, but nonetheless Tres began decaying, buildings slowly falling away under the sheer lack of maintenance.
As more and more delicate infrastructure rotted away, plants closing and supply chains bleeding slowly into nonexistence, it was realised Tres would be no more after a cure provided by Galaktische Krone failed to curb the decay. Citizens panicked, flocking to the new Tresnothian moonbase, Fargo.
Resource levels plummeted, citizen morale too low and citizen count too meagre for anyone to even consider working a job. Tresnoth had limited time on its hands. Mostres immediately called for the production of a small scout, sucking away the last of the resources at the ruined capital, and with a few buildings to keep it alive, took himself and a small group of undiseased citizens in search of a new home.
Revelations
After significant times spent sailing the galaxy on his scout, Mostres stumbled upon a system, JESDC, off of an all inferno system, Vulcanium. As all previous systems had been unfruitful, this new portal was greeted with great enthusiasm. On the other side, the crew of the small, meagre scouter were greeted with a massive object, resembling a spaceship yet a planet at the same time.
Massive stell construction morphed effortlessly into lush green forests, the air crisp and clean and wildlife friendly and amiable. It was the perfect home. A curious set of solar panels shielded the sun periodically from exposure to this strange construct, and it puzzled Tresnothian scientists on board greatly.
Night had been a hated thing back in their old home, and it seemed quite illogical to purposefully instate it. Nonetheless, the crew landed, and with bated breath, stepped for the first time onto the soil of their new capital.
A city was immediately established, prominent intellectuals calling for the name of Revelations, which, lacking competition, was agreed upon. Revelations grew slowly, the added boon of automatic power doing little to keep the leader away from more pressing issues such as diplomacy; for a while, Revelations was abandoned.
Scouring the universe once more in pursuit of a new living-place, Tresnothian citizens rediscovered Revelations, and immediately began construction once more. A city worthy of being a capital was quickly erected, small passenger ships carrying Tres refugees to their new life.
The city prospered, massive, technological construction of the ring unaffected by the burden of 1000 citizens. Research bloomed, and Tresnoth quickly reached TL32, especially with help from The Toucan Empire. However, resources were still lacking.
Eras
Beginning Expansion
With a secured capital base prospering on Revelations Alpha Ringworld, the Tresnothians endeavored to expand their reach and colonise further in the galaxy. Using carefully constructed sensor ships, Tresnothian commanders noted several systems of value, and immediately began operations. Following the colonisation of these systems, Tresnothian designers formulated several early warships, which were put into production and use, capturing neighbouring empires and inciting the anger of many. However, the first major war would occur later in the expansionist era: the War of New Osseo.
Late Expansion
With continued colonisation occurring in the background, Tresnothian war fleets closed in on a particularly promising target, New Osseo. The system was heavily fortified, with multiple star bases of TL18+, behemoths compared to the mere TL11 war vessels of the Tresnoth. After several failed landing attempts, a group of soldiers, escaping from an exploding vessel and armed lightly with Vulcium vests and shotguns, managed to land onto the planet below. Immediately overpowering the soldiers within the abandoned city, the Tresnothian legion began capture, securing New Osseo as their own.
Unfortunately, New Osseo was soon discovered to be in a state of decay, and Tresnothian resources wasted on nothing but a rotting ruin.
TL32 Era
With the discovery of several TL32 resources, the shipyard system of Revelations achieved TL32 status, at which point must colonisation ended, with more and more citizens flooding universities and designing new ships. Along with this era came power, and a hunger for war. Tens of war fleets went out, intent on claiming whatever they could for themselves. The Republic prospered, healthy war fleet keeping its territories safe and sound; legions of Universities educating the future generations. However, one day, it was discovered the scrapyard, a major component in the Tresnothian shipbuilding process, had been disassembled and was no longer available.
