Bread

#1
Recipe of bread is broken.

Bread only need flour and water to produce, you might have to add a little bit of salt and yeast, but definitely not milk or eggs.

Depends, which bread you make.

Not broken. Just easier to make in real life, just like gunpowder.

I have long time ago suggested that foods should just be generic instead of attempting real life food types.
For example something like "basic herbivore meal", "luxury carnivore meal" and so on.

Was discussing with someone in the Galactic chat about bread recipe. The idea of designing your own food items came up, this might be possible with Haxus's old desire to implement an "item designer".

The idea of designing your own food ideas is interesting. I would love it if complex foods gave some small bonuses, so there was a reason to actually produce and eat them.

Yes.

Moved this thread to Idea section, since it is not a bug report.
The bread recipe is not "broken", it is just not as "realistic" as you want it to be or whatever.

Did you even saw the research you sent? Sure you didn't, I wonder if it's because you're too condescending or too lazy tho.

This is definitely not bread. Theses are recipes for buns, you can surely make hamburger with it, but not sandwiches.

The rest of your answer is basically off scope, did not read.

Also, dont forget my  -1 reputation please. I would to keep the count of times you were wrong.

So someone was just nice enough to explain to me that French people have a very different and strict definition for what is and isn't "bread". So this is just a translation issue, the bread recipe is not broken, you just have a different definition of what bread is.
Or maybe you are just trolling? I really can't tell with you.

This is why custom designed food items would be a lot more interesting. In before we all start arguing about what is more correct: "burger" verse "patty", "hotdog" verse "sausage" verse "wiener", "soda" verse "pop", and so on. Or worse, the recipes for each food item.

Are you're saying that 2 different things with a commin name is the same as 2 different things for the same name?

Also, this is not a French thing, lived in Canada and USA and they are not making dough from milk and eggs to make bread.

Milk Bread, just one popular recipe in Japan among other countries, makes use of eggs and milk in its recipe and it is beautiful and delicious.

I for one appreciate that we have such wonderful representation in Hazeron.

Using the exception as a common rule... What a thing.

I will no longer waste my time to answer to such fallacious arguments.

Maybe later I will repost this as a bug, because it is, despite his lack of food culture will make Deantwo confused again.
