I'm actually a bit unclear on which other morale buildings work like this. Most of them (cantinas, casinos, parks, hospitals, retail stores etc.) just have service/maintenance jobs, I believe?
You need food, air and power, but they are judged by actual demand, not by the number of processes - and the effect they have is transparent and logical. I'm not seeing how the production of patents actually produces happiness. To my mind, universities are currently inconsistent, in that they affect morale directly rather than by product (unlike air refineries, farms), but they require manufacturing processes to do so (unlike arenas, churches). Doesn't that make them unique, somewhere in the middle?
Which other buildings are you thinking of, Haxus? Just slightly confused; probably my fault.
