That's quite an assumption. In Shores, density varying from core to rim, from over 50 systems/sector to hardly single one.

The averages for Shores work out, due to just how dense the bright areas of the galaxy are. When The Box was in effect in a semi-dense area, even 729 sectors had more systems than 100 players could use.

Yes this is true, I went to edge of the rift when it was the first jump away from Shores and it was very sparse. Even at the core, systems were too far apart for wormholes to form, so it was deadhead to travel or hop to the next galaxy. However, even a galaxy containing only 10,000 systems is a lot more space than players will never need considering there's 20 of said galaxies
