If rocks appear on the ground positioned in the dirt as they should be, then you are seeing the near terrain correctly.
Perhaps that moon is just smooth.
Are there any craters or fissures or other geological features you could go see?
Rocks are present correctly and I see geological features, but resources seem to have shifted too maybe. So maybe it is an error on my part, since my symptom I see is that my colony is raised up, as if the terrain was higher before. I keep forgetting how old my save-game is, so maybe I just haven't been to this specific moon colony for more than a year. If there were any terrain generation changes since I made this colony, that would likely more closely explain what I am seeing. So sorry for maybe having been hasty to call it an issue with the update.
I will report back if I see it somewhere that I can confirm wasn't too old.
