Can't get past character generation on New Acct (nvm solved)

I created a new acct and downloaded the game to my laptop. Everything went well till I try to create a gen III character, at which point I get kicked to desktop.

intel i7 11800h, 2.3 GHz (16 cpu's)

GForce 3080

Ok, I've uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times, I've tried the 32bit version, I've verified I have OpenGL (V4.6) and enabled it on my graphics card.

I'm not sure what else I can check, any help is appreciated.

Ok, Solved it

It seems the graphics card in this laptop was not set as the preferred card and the auto setting wasn't finding it or something.

After setting it to preferred everything works.

What dead links? There is only one link on that page, and it works.

You made me freak out a little bit, thinking that the page was gone.

Yeah the information should probably be moved to the actual wiki page, but I am lazy and especially don't want to add pictures to the page.
