I do plan to allow for refit changes at the time of manufacture. I'll probably add a page similar to the refit window, that allows for saving/loading configurations for different blueprints.
I don't mean to split hairs over words. I just want to be sure everyone understands that a design does not have to be published to be manufactured at a spacecraft factory. You can save a design to your gear, to a blank disk or storage device. The spacecraft factory shows designs in your gear, in the list of designs available for manufacture.

Officers that were stationed on old-style ships don't seem to be ready for redeploying. Are they maybe stuck in limbo after their ships were swallowed up by the changing voids?
