Rik'Tan Hegemony was a medium-sized empire that existed during the second and third universes of the MMO. It used the Theocracy government type and had an invitation-only immigration policy. It was notable for being a major member of The Foundation alliance and being instrumental to the start of the Pan Galactic War.
During the early days of Universe 3, Rik'Tan joined into a mutual alliance with a few other empires to keep each other safe. This would eventually grow into The Foundation. Shortly after, Borg and Tymas Confederation attacks on Rik'Tan led to the start of the Pan Galactic War, with PTMC and Poofland joining on the side of Rik'Tan and The Foundation.
The conflict would end as a result of a galactic outbreak of disease and vermin infestations in late April, as a result of a game update[1].
PTMC and the alliance collapsed as a result of the PGW and eventually led to the abandonment of Rik'Tan.
