King Tomaka became desperate, he travelled out to other empires, in an attempt to annex them and obtain any medical technologies to save his people. After a week of traversing wormholes, he lost his way, and had to fly through normal space back to the Republic. By the time he returned, he had lost all communication with the Homeworld. The entire system was silent. All outlying sectors were silent also. The only systems remaining was a single Ringworld on the verge of eradication.

In the hopes of preserving the Republic, he commissioned the construction of several Ark vessels, filling them with materials and survivors of the illness, who had fought off the disease and became immune. His daughter, Tarish Alican, was one such survivor. He abdicated his throne to Tarish Alican, and as his last order, ordered the Ark vessel to leave the sector.

Sensor logs indicate a large detonation on the surface of the Ringworld as the Ark vessel left the trough, the city present on the Ringworld was destroyed, along with all pathogens.

===Era of Renewal===

A year and a half on from the downfall of the Republic, Tarish Alican, now High Queen of the Republic, landed the Ark ships on a planet with a suitable atmosphere, orbiting a binary Blue Supergiant, Blue giant system, and ordered the immediate reconstruction of the empire. Having brought with her several high technology discs, the Empire was soon re-established in the system of Crescellia Prime, and planned colonisation was immediately ordered of the entire system. Settling on the worlds with the best resources available.

At this point, the Republic spanned one system, and 3 planets and a moon, with approximately 2,000 citizens under its rule.

==Historic Characters==

King Kora Tomaka - Founder of the Republic of Crescellia, and first King of the Republic. It was during his reign that the Empire rose to great heights, and crumbled into oblivion. His greatest achievement was the construction of an Ark vessel, sending several survivors, enough to safely repopulate the empire, and resources, as well as technologies with it. His daughter, Tarish Alican, was aboard the vessel, where she was crowned High Queen.

High Queen Tarish Alican - Daughter of the first King, she was a child during the rise and fall of the Empire. Ascending the throne at age 17, it was under her guidance that the Republic resettle on the new planet, after a year travelling the stars as nomads searching for a new home. She was the reigning Monarch.
