	The corporation is run by High CEO Arquen. The government is composed of a union of smaller corporations with very specific roles. The High CEO is consulted to give final approval of corporate direction, but most matters are left to the independent entities. 	In a terrible tragedy, the homeworld of Chronos Corporation - Korril - was destroyed by a massive asteroid. High CEO Arquen was launching his vessel to attempt to destroy the asteroid as the impact happened. His ship and all hands were lost in the destruction. As the only habitable planet in their home solar system, and no FTL technology developed, the outlook for Chronos Corporation was dim. Luckily most of their industry was replicated off world so only a minor hunt for a source of minerals was required to keep the corporation from dying. A ship from their empire entered Corporation systems with a hostile stance prompting local military leaders to issue threats to the visitors. The Collective asserted peaceful intentions and High CEO Arquen arrived to conduct negotiations. After working out technical communications glitches a peaceful relationship was established.
