			<description><![CDATA[How to make the textures go change with the materials used in game ?<br />
Ex : a house in stone looking like built stone walls, the same using metal, vulcanite, magmium looking like built with walls in metal, magmium, vulcanite.<br />
Do i need to create ALL the iterations in design studio for each asset or they will change procedurally ingame when construction is set with the correct material ?<br />
The old Shores of Hazeron worked like this, it seems HS don't .<br />
Why ?<br />
And will it be updated to implement this ?<br />
As i miss this feature , it looked so cool, and realistic.<br />
Vulcanite houses just can't look like stone built .^^]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[Designer ignoring door parts]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[So I spent some time working on designing a new ship, but for some reason the designer believes that the door parts do not exist. In building mode they show up fine and operate as expected, but in preview they are completely gone. The finalize process also states that the parts do no exist. Is there some solution that does not involve restarting the entire project or having to piecemeal the walls together again and recut them?<br />

The design is attached with the errors for interior doors. The hull door remains disassociated from attempting to solve the issue.<br />

Whenever I try to make similar giant ships, game starts to eat through my RAM and takes forever to finalize ship. On Windows it can somewhat finalize ship after an enormously long time with all this RAM eating, but on Linux it gets automatically closed when RAM+Swap limit is reached, making it impossible to finalize ship.</div>

			<description><![CDATA[I've been following Haxus's Tutorial on Turbo Lifts (several times now) and for some reason I can't seem to get it to work.<br />
<br />
- Lift created according to tut.<br />
- Stop created.<br />
- Door cut between lift and Bridge<br />
- Paths created/associated to door<br />
- New stop created (Cargo Bay) ..Header confirms I am at new location<br />
- Lift aligned to Cargo Bay<br />
- Door cut<br />
- Paths created/associated to door<br />
<br />
At this point I rt click on the turbo lift icon, it confirms I have 2 stops (Bridge, Cargo Bay) and I am at the cargo bay. <br />
- I click on bridge and nothing happens. <br />
- I refresh and header confirms I am at the bridge but lift car is still at cargo bay<br />
- I'm using off line designer that came with U6 with a working preview .. Preview starts me on the bridge. I can open the lift door but there is no car behind it.<br />

I have literally deleted everything and redone the tutorial 4 times. I cannot get that car to move.<br />

This ship has a little of everything. A comfy longue, visible cryo pods (for fun of course), crew quarters with custom beds, sickbay with again custom beds, fire station station pods, dedicated turret posts, two fighter launch bays, vehicle launch bay on the belly of the ship, and last but not least the bridge has a nice view. <br />
<br />
It only takes an hour or less to build.<br />
<br />
The design has enough volume to suite different configurations. Example, most of the armament can be stripped away to make it a nice colonizer.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Decided I would upload the designs I had published so folks who are going to use Starship/singleplayer can use them should they wish, especially now that the MMO is dead. These were all models/textures taken from Cities Skylines. I edited them in Blender to fix some texture/mesh issues and make them more Hazeron ready by doing stuff like taking all the windows and making them their own mesh(s). Then in the Hazeron editor I made the window mesh(s) into windows, added lights, etc. Some of them have fences, stuff like that. There is pretty good coverage on buildings, but I don't think the list is fully complete. Feel free to modify them, but don't claim them as your original work. They aren't even my original work, given they are from Cities Skylines! <br />

What is the proper way to find models of buildings of different types and sizes with their fitting individual textures, that are easy to import into the format, the designer uses? There are very nice looking models to be seen on the main website, in the forums and on fb.<br />
I never seem to find a way to use the textures of models.<br />

Is it, because only a few formats are compatible to the designer?<br />

How do you guys convert other data types into the fitting ones, if you do so? <br />

If i can figure this out, I like to contribute to the exchange, so everyone can use the models, I come across. <br />
I really like diversity in shape, size and textures of buildings in the cities. At least every type of building should have one unique model to go. Perfect would be to have these models altered, for different sizes. I liked the old system, where you could upgrade buildings. But different sized models for each type of building will do the job even better.<br />

So please help me to understand, how this works properly :-) <br />

Maybe it's very easy and it's just me, not understanding all the 3D modeling stuff and the magic with the import mechanics of the designer. :-) <br />
