More Flavors of Panels & Decals - Tipper - 06-25-2022 Hi! I just finished making my ship and realized I was throwing planet maps on pretty much every wall I wanted - to the point in which I realized I'd love to see more panels. Here are a few suggestions I can think of for more panels: Panels:

RE: More Flavors of Panels & Decals - Rockinsince87 - 06-25-2022 Oh yes please. These are all great ideas. Since the addition of integrated stations, there is a lot you could do with that. I would love to see: - A viewscreen with display options - Zoom in on target and track - Just zoom in - Display a "camera" - Display multiple cameras, aka security panel - Could then act as a view screen on the bridge if your design has a forward camera - Ship to ship/station communication - Display fixed position from avatars head for video chat - Allow overlay of information next to target - Target scan data - Planet survey information - Blueprint specs from target ship (possible opportunity for sensor QL to be limiting factor on what is displayed) - A panel that displays a picture, or something around those lines for decorations - Some kind of tactical overview/situation map - 3d radar - Automatically generated top view and side wireframe view of your ship. - Example: allow use of the internal sensors and show position of crew/guests/intruders - Top view and side wireframe view of the ship your targeting. You could go on and on, lots of possibilities. |
