Might be an idea to turn them off completely until the servers can stay up for longer than a few hours. tons of people on the discord are sat there unable to do anything about the boulder of impending doom rolling its merry way towards them..

Yeah kinda getting some anxiety about it as my playtime will be limited this weekend and was hoping to get things up and running before it happens.

Yeah that is not a bad idea.
But I was also thinking that maybe the default for impact date should be 2 weeks, but allow us to set it to anything between 7 and 30 days. Now that the trial isn't a thing, it really is annoying that the time is always ~7 days. Not everyone can play more than a few days each week.

True. A customisable time period would be good, provided theres a tangeable way of finding the thing before 8 hours before impact.

That has been on my wish list for a while.
Would like it to just be orbiting the edge of the solar system or something.
