Star Map Gone (mostly) - Greydog - 08-01-2020
I'm not so sure this is a bug but I'm going to ask here anyway.
I bought a new PC last week. Since then the "map" part of the star map won't load up.
After installing the game I copied the xml file to the new programs folder. Now everything in the map works except the map image itself. All the data is there, all the tabs work, it will even populate the list in the right column ...there is just no map to navigate.
Is there something I was supposed to do that I missed?
I'll copy/paste this in here just in case. I have no clue if anything in there could be the cause.

You mean the tree-view list takes up the whole star map window? Or that the half with the graphical star map is just blank?
A picture of the issue says more about your issue than your computer specs.
If it is the former, it is because the split containing is collapsed to the left. You can find the split barrier and drag it out.

Here you go ..star map tab ..right column works ..no map.
Nothing I do will bring it up.

Did you update your graphics drivers?
You did try to right-click on yourself in the tree-view list and select "Center on my location"?
Does the star map work in Hazeron Commander? (Since that uses the old star map code.)

Yes, updating drivers was no help.

This is still an issue ...makes it very difficult to find stranded ships.
