Air density calculations seem a bit too extreme now.
I have been unable to fly at all since, only glide from a tall building.
The air is thick enough to breathe without a helmet, yet not enough to fly.

I checked this. Tested flying on world with low and high density atmospheres.

Could you give me the name of the world and the name of your avatar? Then I can test on that world using your DNA.

I added atmospheric pressure to the weather information displayed on the compass.

It shows that the atmospheric pressure at the your avatar's location is a miniscule 149mbars. That is thin, much less than the minimum breathable by real humans, which is around 450mbars.

The air is too thin to fly. You shouldn't be able to glide or breathe. Did you notice you can see the stars at noon?

For some reason years ago I set the minimum breathable atmosphere density to 15%. Had not related atmosphere density to actual atmospheric pressure yet. Now I have a formula for making a conversion but it's not really the best answer; it will max out at 4.053bars at the highest atmosphere density. It is close enough for a game environment.
