RE: Picture Thread 2.0 - Rockinsince87 - 04-29-2024 Been some time since (A YEAR! OMG) I've had a chance to touch Hazeron. Here is an update, shuttle bay is party way done. Still missing some things. Railings and so on. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Picture Thread 2.0 - Rockinsince87 - 11-09-2024 Wow it's been a long time...Work life has taken over...but I found some time to make more progress. I have been putting off the "Inner Reactor" room due to the geometry involved. I have made a good compromise. I swear one day I will finish this ship... ![]() EDIT: I'm going to fix those hanging monitors...I don't like them ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Picture Thread 2.0 - Rockinsince87 - 11-13-2024 More progress. Wife said my cargo pods were lame so I did them over again, she also asked me why I was missing the overhead lights in the shuttle bay and the guard railing... Wife caught me before I finished my turbo lift and had me re-do that... Guard railings in the cargo bay are place holders at the moment. I needed to do the turbo lift to get the size for the turbo shaft size to place it in the cargo hold. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Picture Thread 2.0 - Rockinsince87 - 11-17-2024 Shuttle and Cargo Bay work. Decided on how I was going to do the "Turbo-Shaft" running through the deck. I can't begin to tell you how much of a pain it was to create functional tubes with interiors and functioning windows (worth it) For those not in the know, this is the reference material Source: https://forgottentrek.com/the-motion-picture/designing-the-motion-pictures-cargo-and-shuttle-bays ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Picture Thread 2.0 - GaelicVigil - 11-19-2024 Pics look absolutely amazing. Cannot wait until you're done. Great work! Do you still have a copy of the older version(s)? Would love to see it uploaded to the Steam workshop in the meantime. That was one of my all time favorite ships. RE: Picture Thread 2.0 - Rockinsince87 - 11-19-2024 (11-19-2024, 04:35 PM)GaelicVigil Wrote: Pics look absolutely amazing. Cannot wait until you're done. Great work! Thanks for the kind words! Yeah I do have the old version. EDIT: I just found the old thread for it. https://hazeron.com/mybb/showthread.php?tid=2839 RE: Picture Thread 2.0 - Rockinsince87 - 11-24-2024 Update: Shuttle bay / Cargo Bay done for now, finishing touches will be done at the very end. Shuttle bay door console added with working button / indicators and lights (love that you can do that in the designer) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Picture Thread 2.0 - Vectorus - 12-31-2024 Wow, @Rockinsince87! I'm just bowled over by your designs - all made in-house, to boot! Your artistry inspires me to get back into the thick of this peerless game... I have an old half-done file for a TOS-era Excelsior class, but you've got so much further! One day I will finish it, but it would be of greater public utility to make a newbie building set first, I fear... ![]() RE: Picture Thread 2.0 - Vectorus - 12-31-2024 I always thought this habitable caught between two stars had a rather beautiful terminator - just a tiny crescent of night on a world of endless day. The natives must have written poems about that strange roving patch of blackness! ![]() ![]() RE: Picture Thread 2.0 - Rockinsince87 - 01-05-2025 (12-31-2024, 03:53 PM)Vectorus Wrote: Wow, @Rockinsince87! I wish I had more time to devote to finishing the darn thing. That TOS-era Excelsior class looks awesome. Newbie buildings is definitely good for the community and I commend you for wanting to do that. Also that endless day planet is awesome... |
