Haxus doesn't appear to be getting my email regarding joining the Steam Beta, does he still check the Cantina every now and then, or do I need to go bother the Updates section?

He is more likely to check his email than read here.
As for when and how often he checks his email? No idea.

Apparently he's been busy on his farm for a while, expect more communication from him later in the year

I just noticed the information in the thread's title too.
If you remember the email you used, or the account name, either is enough.
If you don't remember, you might be able to find it in your browser's saved passwords or something. Or if you had the Hazeron client installed on your computer once, it might be saved in the system registry.
