The farm is the primary place for all plant and animal production. The only plant that can not be grown at a farm, is trees, for that an orchard will have to be used.

Environment or Irrigation

Each item produced by farms have the option of using resources from the environment or artificial resources. Resources from the environment typically result in slower output, and sometimes lower quality. Water for irrigation may be used on colonies where natural resources are scarce or non-present.

Environment Irrigation
Water in the Environment Water
Sunlight Electricity
Pasture Hay OR Silage

Animals

Farms can tame and breed animals. This is done by dropping a DNA Sample on the farm's plot.

For more information on this, read the Farming Mechanics page.

Deigner Notes

  • 4000 m² field for each new production line.
