I have a positron beam cannon model that has 7k faces. Seems to not lag at all on my end

Although, I have a ship that has around 700 faces, with a LOT of interior objects such as ladders, paths and voids, and that lags like hell

I tried that earlier but the third point kept trying to go to another part of the ship and I couldn't get the grid to align with the face I wanted. Just had to keep trying I guess...took several more tries before it finally went where I wanted it. I had snap to edge and snap to vertice disabled earlier while working with the grid. The other 2 make the cursor go to the wrong places a lot.

Oh these 50 ship battles have happened I was present for at least 2 or 3 of them, but it was pre collision damage, and pre new planet update, with old even crappier AI helmsman, and it still lagged like hell. Would probably be as bad with 20 or 30 ships today with all the extra calculation going on.

We are talking about hazeron here anr.

I'd like to clarify that I was always talking this issue as a hazeron issue, Not EVE, or the upcoming dual universe which both have different engines and a far larger development team.

Watch both battles. I'm sure you will notice the emphasis commenters put very early on about Time Dilation feature, and how even that doesn't quite help.
