New buildings and roads now show up on the world map.
  • Military headquarters makes a red dot.
  • Capitol building makes a purple dot, like the town square.
World Surface Texture
New buildings and roads now show up on the near surface texture of worlds. That is what you see when you are in orbit and it appears on the world map screen in new spacecraft. Old buildings do not show up on the world surface texture at all.

Biodome Rocks
Fixed biodomes so defoliated areas inside them will reveal rock resources. This fix applies more to defoliated areas than to biodomes. It is possible that defoliated areas in forests did not previously reveal mineral resources; they should do so now.

Crater Limit Exceeded Bug
When excess craters were removed because new ones were added, things lying in them were not adjusted up to the surface. That is fixed.

Rename Building
New buildings can be renamed using a button on the Building page of the Shift+F7 window. The building must be in your chain of command, of course.

Ships and New Buildings Not Visible From Orbit
All spacecraft and new buildings could not be seen from orbit. They just weren't rendered at all. That is fixed.

Orbit Fog Bug
Once visible from orbit, ships and new buildings on the ground were bleached white by atmospheric fog, making them stand out like a sore thumb and generally look ugly. The fog bug was fixed.

Design Icons Visible
Parts that appear as icons in the new ship and building designs were visible in the final rendering. I made changes to omit all unwanted parts from the final rendering. Let me know if you see something that should not be visible, or if something is missing.
