Account Login Failure
Fixed a problem on the login servers that caused a strange crash or lockup on the client when someone's account was expired. Now the appropriate message is displayed.

Faces and Triangles in Report
The design analysis report now shows the number of faces and triangles in the model.

Confirm Contact Delete
A confirmation message now appears when deleting a contact from your buddy list or squelch list.

Players Online Window
Players online window got some improvements.
  • The window is now a dockable toolbar, like most of the other floating windows.
  • Column widths are now remembered.
  • Icons were changed.
  • Tool tips were added.
  • AFK checkbox turned into a button with an icon.
  • Right-click menu options:
    • Add avatar to buddy list.
    • Open web page of avatar.
Spacecraft Manufacturing Patents
Processes to manufacture spacecraft now require the patents that would be needed to make all of its modules. The patents are only a requirement, like a tool, so their quality is not applied to the process. Instead, after the ship is completed, the quality of each system containing a patented module is limited by the appropriate patent. So you could now build a spacecraft that has a mix of qualities for its initial systems.

This change applies to old and new spacecraft manufacturing processes.

Command and Control Module Dependency Nerf
There is no longer a dependency between the Q of the command and control module and any other system of the ship. Previously, you could not install a module in most systems unless the CnC module was upgraded at least to the same Q; that is no longer the case.

Repair Shop Q
It was proving too restrictive to require repair shops to be at the same Q or higher as the ship they were repairing. Now the repair shop can be as low as 1/2 the Q of the ship. That is based on the original manufactured Q of the ship.

In addition, when repairs are made at a shop with lower Q, the amount of time needed to perform the repairs is increased, linearly up to 2x when the shop Q is only 1/2 the ship's Q.

Parking Spot Decals
Parking spots, control screens, access panels, berths and other things like that are now rendered like decals. That means that they can be placed exactly on a surface without getting crazy face collisions. Alas, you can disregard all those parts in the videos where I carefully lift those things above the surface so they don't collide.

Refit Armor More Than 50%
Attempting to allocate more than 50% of the hull volume to armor is useless. The design analysis report now points this out if you try to make a ship like that or if you try to refit a ship like that.

Captured a Town Square While Dying on the Ground
Fixed. Body can no longer influence a flag while dead or dying.

New Empire Startup Bug
Started a new empire. Loaded into my new world. I appear to be stuck at the center of the world. Relog and I am ok. Fixed.

Terrain Info Icons Slow
I made some changes to draw the terrain information icons you see in top-down view faster.

Patent Export Combo Box Not Sorted
The list of patents at a building is now sorted alphabetically.

Patent Commodity Names
Patent commodity names were changed once again. This time they look more like this 'Pistol Patent', 'SUV Apparatus Patent', 'Refining Fertilizer from Air Patent', etc.

Patents in Tech Category
Someone asked if patents could be categorized with tech on the commodities window. It is done. This helps to clean up the miscellaneous category.

Building Designs in Miscellaneous
Building designs were listed as designs but they were also listed in the miscellaneous category. That is fixed.

Record Patent Confusion
The thought message when recording a patent now reports the name of the patent, for confirmation. When multiple patents are recorded, by multi select in the patent filing window, the individual names are not reported.

Cities Page Formatting Error
Cities page on the Governance window was showing a Q range of -1 to 255. That was fixed.

Make Door Adds Open State
The Make Door command creates only a closed state using the geometry. It now adds an open state to the new door, that is empty of geometry.

Hull Tubing Bug
When attempting to draw a hull tubing in the designer, the resulting part is a generic mesh if you choose to draw a custom shape for the tube. This is now fixed. It affected all of the tubing variations.

Design Studio Window Needs Scroller
Go to a sixteen story design studio and open the city window. The city window grows as tall as the screen. It now has a scroller like the manufacturing window, so the list of panes of controls for the individual studios can scroll. The window does not grow super tall any more.

Call for Help Button Missing
Someone noticed the Call for Help button was missing from the on-screen buttons, even if you check the box to make it visible. That is fixed.

Server Crash
Fixed a server crash that occurred when an assertion failed while burning a CD of an old style design.

Republish Blueprints
Republished blueprints of Atlantis, Scout, Turbo and Basic Spacecraft to show face and triangle counts in the exchange. Used the opportunity to fix some minor glitches. They were published as both assembly and final blueprints.

Transfer Electricity Bug
Officer ordered to transfer electricity. Electricity is taken from ship A. Ship B receives Q255 hydrogen. Fixed.

Thank you for making stations use decal rendering! Having to move each station individually a millimetre in a direction after placing them was really annoying

Might have missed a step: cant install modules higher level than repair shops, either.
(note: this is the module I already manually installed just the other day, and its not like theres a limit on manual installation...)

Road Surfaces
Roads now create a model of their surface, with striping. The texture is sparkly due to lack of mip mapping. That will change as I get more into changing the buildings.

This has caused a pretty serious bug preventing all new players from making low tech spacecraft.

Looks like an update came out today but this wasn't addressed. The 10-13 release is still causing an issue.

That is one of the great things about Hazeron, you aren't actually stuck in your system, you are just too lazy to deadhead in a space rocket!

I do however recommend the space transport, it has gravity-drive and more fuel, plus more seats for crates and passengers. ^^

Other than that there are a couple of new-style designs you can buy.
