Hidden doors leading to secret areas would be super easy, especially since there is no deck plan view on the new ships.

Have been thinking that maybe the locator could have a wireframe version of the ship. Similar to how the star-map works, but for the ship you are currently on.

PS: Just as a thought, what would it be like if top-down view was only available while you are in the atmosphere of a planet?
AnrDaemon is the solution to the [s]Fermi Paradox[/s] Hazeron suggestion flood problem, the great suggestion filter.

I cannot get the ingame studio to load designs at all. black background with no grid, and if I try to make a hull extrusion SoH immediately crashes.

I am encountering the same errors as jakbruce, where the online designer is unable to load designs in to be burned and then created in game. If this could be fixed, along with the sensor module issue, player-made designs would be able to be produced in game. It's almost there!

Ah, I'm guessing that's why Haxus released a ship design as well, so we can try them, even though the studio is not quite ready.

Haxus, are you aware of how surfaces look extremely blurry when looking at them from shallow angles at a distance?

Here's an example:

anisotropic texture filtering would fix that.

From that screenshot its definitly trilinear or even bilinear filtering.

As suggested directly by a friend, which encouraged me to make that post.

But yeah, never noticed it in-game but now it's very obvious
