Hidden Forgotten Empires Bug
In the previous update, unwanted Forgotten Empires were hidden from the diplomacy list. Unfortunately, they still caused the new message indicator but then there was no way to get rid of it.

I fixed the cause of them being in the list in the first place. The server will no longer keep stance records for forgotten empires.

Rings
Rendering of rings around planets was changed, for the better I hope. They will all be wider. NPCs should be able to harvest from any portion.

Nav Console Star Names
At the nav console there is a button to show star names on the screen. When that switch is on, the navigator also sees those star names in the sky near the appropriate stars.

Self Destruct 3 Minute Min
The self destruct sequence for a ship now imposes a minimum time of 3 minutes.

Empire Citizens List
Empire citizens list had a problem when two people had the same name in the same empire. This is fixed and a column was added to show the id of each citizen.

Banks Mint Money
It was suggested that banks should be able to mint money. Now they can. This does not change machine ships; they can still mint money too.

Gear List Sort
I may be the only one who was bothered by this, but the sort order of the gear list sometimes started with Helmet, Clothing, then Armor, particularly if you put the clothing on before the armor. That always looked weird to me. The list now always starts out Helmet, Armor, Clothing, regardless of what order you donned the clothing or the armor.

Here's some pics of a couple of rings. Unfortunately, they are in the dim outer reaches. You can kind of tell that the rings are tinted according to the atmosphere color of the parent world, so they have a nice color theme to them.

Would be fun to see the classic ringed gas giant on the horizon of a habitable world, if anyone comes up with a good pic.

They look a LOT better haxus, well done! Maby increase their texture detail? if possible.

The inferno zone one got totally washed out to white.

I'll try some things to tone that down, like a darker texture maybe.

Actually, both were in an inferno zone, but yeah, was blinding white haha

All these lines forming 'spokes' kinda bother me xD

That self destruct update is kinda nice too. Happened often enough where I'm on a pirate ship and it just went boom, no more of that.

funnily enough RL space rings have "spokes" just different meaning ;)

I posted a minor update that makes rings a bit more transparent. They are also thinner.

I may write a shader for them that makes them less transparent where they are thicker. Jorn put the thought in my head and I can't get it out. :geek:
