Qt 5.8 Version Upgrade
I am in the process of upgrading to Qt 5.8.

So far the Windows 64 bit version is done and posted.

The servers were updated yesterday.

Spacecraft Upgrade Missing CnC Module
This update also includes a bug fix to the Spacecraft Service window, Modules page. It had stopped showing the command and control module. Sorry.

Chat Sound Overrides Not Restored
Fixed a bug that prevented custom sound overrides from restoring properly.

Forgotten Empires in Diplomacy List
Removed Forgotten Empires from the diplomacy list. Those are empires that have decayed from existence since.

Update 2/13:

Recall Changes Ship Empire
During the change to company ships, a bug was introduced where recalling to a ship, by someone holding an officer berth, would always change the empire of the ship to the person who recalled.

That was a remnant of private ship code to insure the empire was restored after it was captured, which automatically destroyed it.

Now when a person who holds an officer berth recalls aboard a ship of a different empire, the empire of the ship will change if they are the captain or if there is no captain.

And as of the NEXT server restart, recalling to a ship will not change it's empire at all, no matter who you are.

Undersea City Power Emissions
Undersea cities now emit 1/10 of the signal due to their power consumption, for remote detection purposes.

Full screen seems to work fine, but I am not sure what the problem was before.
AnrDaemon is the solution to the [s]Fermi Paradox[/s] Hazeron suggestion flood problem, the great suggestion filter.

Good to hear. It always makes me nervous when upgrading Qt. It hasn't always gone well.

This time the Qt upgrade has gone flawlessly. Thank you Qt guys! :D

Sensors, Shield generator, and Shield capacitor are still missing from the hull volume allocation window. Weapon system reports no sensors even with a sensor console in the design.

Since when was shield capacity and generation separate? Was that changed at some point?

Power capacity and generation are changed in the new ships.

It might be fun to apply that concept to shields too. More variables makes for less predictability.

Yeah, the new capacitor modules we have should make it easy to make a ship that can run for a bit even without fuel :P

But yeah, would make for more different types of shield usage I guess

My client crashed today for a inexplicable reason, it has never crashed before. Did so on entering a wormhole, which made me crap myself as I had expected that yet another ship had decided to explode 4noraisins (lost a ship to a sundive since the update already). Logged back in and was fine, there was no apparent reason for the crash.

I now have "new" dossier entries on unlisted empires.
Guessing that you hid the forgotten empires but didn't exclude them from causing the diplomacy button highlighting when they have "new" dossier entires.

Would still prefer it to only be the captain. Ordering the NPC officer to do a naked spacewalk and then recalling sounds like an exploitable way to steal your "friend"'s ship.
