If you don't mind me asking, what software/tools do you use for coding?
I like to think of anime characters as a race of Star Trek aliens.

my favorite is vim for its versatility and power. But if you want something simple and free to use that get the job done, visual studio 2015 community edition works alright.

Bug Report for new designer:

The 'add face' tool doesn't work sometimes. I was creating some faces and it outright refused to add a face in one area. This isn't the first time this has happened. I have no idea why as the face I'm creating is not doing anything odd or overly complex. And I had just added another face opposite to the one that won't go appear with the same size and shape and it poped up like a champ.

Try changing the direction of the grid. That seems to affect it, I need to change the grid to be vertical when I'm placing vertical faces

Sorry for posting twice in a row but this needs to be said...

Haxus I hope that you're going to set it up so that the new designer will prompt you to save when you try to exit... I just lost a chunk of work on a ship because I forgot to save before trying to exit.

It's probably on your to-do list but yah... really hope that it gets put in next update.

There really needs to some way to automatically create room voids instead of having to do it manually. As it stands having to manually set up each room void takes a long time, especially for larger more complex shaped rooms. Once you get a room beyond a certain size or complexity of shape it'll be a nightmare to have to manually set up those room voids.

What if the coding for that is so complex it'll take another 20 years? Just saying, it might not be as easy as it sounds

I know this isn't a strong solution, but I have found it easy to do the room shapes in blender as separate objects by selecting certain shapes of the hull and shrinking them. ( At least for shuttle-sized craft)
