Select them.

Press Shift+G to grab.

XYZ will lock axes. You don't have to hold them down. They are toggles.

Fwiw, when the launcher runs the designer, it just passes the -designer option for you. It doesn't pass any other options.

The same goes for the other launch modes.

-spacecraft
-building
-primeval
-designer

Here are some other ways to move or copy things. They all start with selecting one or more parts or faces.
  • Cut/copy. Move/rotate grid. Paste.
  • Cut/copy. Paste At. Arrow keys to rotate.
  • Enter vector into input box and press Enter to move, Ctrl+Enter to copy.

Gonna take a while to get used to the mechanics of the moving grid. I'm used to using a fixed grid system.

Is there a way to scale a face with respect to the center of the selection as opposed to wherever the grid is?

That would definitely be cool. Rotation could also use a similar option, to rotate around its center axis instead of the center of the grid. Or maybe a good way to do it is to have a button/shortcut to place the grid at the center of the selected object so it would essentially work the same. (unless that's already there and I've missed it)

It was one of those things that I had to move into the "later" column. I had to be pretty austere about functions, just enough to get the job done, and to establish an internal pattern that is easily expanded upon.

That exists now. I could go crazy expanding upon functionality. But I won't.

There's plenty to do to get these things in the game. I've set a goal of the end of January, but I don't know if that is realistic. It will be close; we'll see.
