Now the question becomes: who will be the first to make an accurate Firefly transport ship? :D

My old puter is in storage, and I think the graphics card may be out on it, anyway. I should have time to start tinkering with Blender to get a head start on that :D

I must make a ship that looks like Guile from Street Fighter, and the weapon attack will be his arms coming together.

Now if I could only give everyone the weapon firing sound mod so they could all hear "SONIC BOOM" on the bridge every time it fired.

i just realised, the limit in size is 1600m and planet atmo end at 1500m... does that mean we could make a giant ladder to space ? XD

if you line it up right, you could in theory land a spacestation on top and have an elevator to a functional spacestation ! XD

Man, when more in-game objects are able to be created with the editor, I'm totally gonna set up a mega-station somewhere to show off and trade crazy designs. Heck, what would be cool to have on stations would be NPC salesmen who could sell things you've designed to other players.

..or functional docking bays!?

With maneuvering thrusters, you could order the station to dock with the ladder ;)
I plan on living forever ..so far so good!

I imagine that we will get quite a few things with the custom armor/weapons/etc once it becomes a possibility, much like the large list of stuff Planet Explorers has (which is a very odd example since it has such a wonderful creator but the game itself is somewhat smallish).

As far as NPC salesmen and stuff go, that would go nicely along with a ship workshop patch to have factories/etc inside spaceships :)
