Make Mash
#1
Is there no way to turn a hull part into a mash part?

Making some small detailed furniture, and accidentally used a hull part, I want to use a mesh part so it doesn't add hull volume (outdoor furniture) and doesn't have collision.

There is a workaround for the lack of Part -> Make -> Mesh.

  1. Create a simple mesh part.
  2. Select your whole hull part in face mode (Ctrl+A or Edit -> Select Faces).
  3. Copy (Ctrl+C) or Cut (Ctrl+X)
  4. Select the mesh on the parts list.
  5. Paste (Ctrl+V)
  6. Select the mesh object's faces from step 1.
  7. Delete the faces.
Here is a quick demonstration.

The same workaround is currently required for importing voids/barriers &c. The ability to "make" just about anything would be much appreciated.
